Maja Keuc will represent Slovenia in the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest.
After numerous appearances with major Slovenian artists she was, until now, generally recognized as a singer and arranger, but more and more she is being known for her own songs. She has a great voice and her song is full of power. It is a typical love theme about a boy and a girl and that could be easy for people to feel identified with this message. On her performance, she gave all of herself, and she was enjoying a lot. She was dressed in a black night dress and wearing boots. On stage were also two men dancing and two backing singers. The song allowed Maja show that she has magnificent vocal qualities. It has the style of a power rock ballad with a very good rhythm which is increased along the track.
Vlatko Ilievski is a former vocal singer of the Macedonian rock band -Moral-.
He was born on 02.07.1985 in Skopje, Macedonia. He is Macedonian rock singer and also a student of acting on the Faculty of Drama Art – Skopje. At age of 12 he started playing guitar and sing in local bands. In 2000 he performed at the Macedonian Rock festival along the band “Made in Macedonia”, and won 2 prizes.The same year, one of the best Macedonian rock bands, MORAL , called Vlatko to join the band and they started recording an album.
In 2001 they recorded a few song and in 2003 they finished the album called “Koga Patuvam”. In 2005 Moral were Deep Purple’s support act for their concert in Skopje. In 2007 he started a solo career with his first single “Uste si mi ti”,on which he worked with Darko Tasev and Vesna Malinova – one of the best Macedonian songwriters.In 2008 he recorded his first solo album “So Drugi Zborovi”. He’s also TV host of the show “Backstage”

Finland is the first country to determine its Eurovision entry. The Finnish public selected Paradise Oskar and his song -Da Da Dam- to represent them in Düsseldorf in May. Ten artists had competed in the national final of -Euroviisut 2011-. Paradise Oskar, Sara Alto and Father McKenzie had made it into the superfinal. Out of the two ballads and the rock song the Finnish chose the guitar ballad by Paradise Oskar.
In the super final Paradise Oskar got 47% of the vote beating out Sara Alto with 41% and Father McKenzie with 12%. The winning song talks about a guy who “went out into the world to save our planet.
Poland will send Magdalena Tul to Eurovision 2011. Magdalena beat out other hopefuls such as She Moans and will rep Poland in Düsseldorf at the annual competition in just a few months… Tul has a video for -Jestem- the song that won, and it’s pretty good. Very catchy song and simple clip that shows the singer’s beauty.
Poland has been participating in the Eurovision Song Contest since 1994, their best result was already in the debut year, when Edyta Gorniak scored a second place.
